The National Institute of Statistics (INS) is pleased to present the directory and demography of modern enterprises in 2016, the year marked by the realization of the second General Census of Enterprises (RGE-2). This fourth edition gives the situation of companies subject to the Statistical and Fiscal Declaration (DSF) and concerns the year 2016. This work is in line with the process of setting up and operationalizing the Central Company Balance Sheets, which is a project that the INS started in 2012.
As part of this activity, a new DSF processing chain has been set up with two (02) data entry pools in Douala and Yaoundé. This system has led to the complete entry of the DFS of companies in the Normal System and the Lite System for the years 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. The complete seizure of the DSFs of Credit Institutions, for its part, began in 2013, and those of Insurance Companies in 2015.
