Distinction: THE INS REWARDS ITS STAFF

The Prefect of Mfoundi presided over the ceremony of awarding the Medals of Honor for Work to the deserving staff of the INS during a ceremony rich in emotion.

Rhinestones and sequins stormed the headquarters building of the National Institute of Statistics, as well as flowers and youyous. The reason for this wave of joy was not insignificant. Indeed, the festive atmosphere of this day was justified by the ceremony of awarding the Medals of Honor of Work to the deserving staff of the INS. A total of 29 recipients received their distinctions from the hands of the Prefect of Mfoundi on January 20 in the INS village hall. Emmanuel Mariel Djikdent, considered a member of the INS according to the Director General of the INS, took part in this exercise with the same ease as it was last November. In his welcome address, Joseph Tedou thanked the Prefect for his availability and urged the recipients to work harder, he addressed words of encouragement to the Prefect of Mfoundi who is facing security challenges due to the organization of the Africa Cup of Nations on Cameroonian soil. In turn, the Prefect addressed words of thanks to the Director General of the INS. Emmanuel Djikdent congratulated the happy recipients of the day and encouraged the aspirants to this distinction to be patient. With the support of the Sub-Prefect of Yaoundé3rd, 20 Silver Medals of Honor for Work were awarded, 6 in Vermeil and 3 in Gold.
