The results of the ESDC-5 will be published on the website of the INS and its partner ICF on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 14:00 GMT. It will be 3 p.m. in Cameroon. As a reminder, the fifth Demographic and Health Survey (ESDC-5) was carried out throughout the national territory from June 16, 2018 to January 19, 2019, by the National Institute of Statistics (INS), in close collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health. It was funded by the Government of Cameroon, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Global Fund through the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP). The survey covered ordinary households, men aged 15 to 64, women aged 15 to 49, women aged 49 to 64, children under 5 years of age. The fields concerned by the said are numerous. These include, for example: reproduction, contraception, marriage and sexual activity, fertility preferences, employment and gender roles, HIV/AIDS and other STIs, and the relationship in the household.
