The National Institute of Statistics is the central element of the National Statistical System. As such, it has the duty to produce as much data as possible for all types of users. The first and flagship document of each statistical institute is the statistical yearbook. The drafting of a document was invited both to a Department of the General Directorate and to the Regional Agencies. At the regional level, it is an activity that must be carried out every year. It is therefore in order to carry out its specifications that the INS Sud Regional Agency is pleased to offer the 2018 edition of the regional statistical yearbook.
The 2018 edition of the regional statistical yearbook brings together statistical information on all areas of socio-economic activity in the Southern Region. The Head of the Regional Agency of the INS expresses his gratitude to all the heads of the sectoral administrations who were kind enough to provide the available information thanks to which the production of this edition was possible. Comments and suggestions are always welcome in order to improve future editions.
