Sustainable Development Indicators in Cameroon, 2021 Edition

This brochure is an open window on some available key indicators, through which the efforts made by Cameroon towards achieving the SDGs since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda, can be appreciated.
The analysis in 2021 takes into account the current context dominated by the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic, which has negatively impacted most of the Objectives.
This pandemic has disrupted the timeline for carrying out statistical operations, thus limiting the updating of many indicators for monitoring progress towards achieving the SDGs. The following criteria guided the selection of the indicators:
• their relevance to Vision 2035 and sectoral policies, the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the African Union’s 2063 Agenda, as well as the Agreements and Conventions ratified by Cameroon;
• their availability.
