Inspection of Services
Placed under the authority of an Inspector of Services, the Inspectorate of Services is responsible for:
- the internal audit of the INS services;
- the evaluation of the performance of the services in relation to the objectives set;
- internal control and evaluation of the functioning of central and regional services;
- information to the Director General on the quality of the functioning and performance of the services;
- the preparation of the report of any coordination meeting chaired by the Director General or the Deputy Director General;
- the keeping and preparation of evaluation documents and the monitoring of the implementation of decisions taken or instructions given by the Director General or the Deputy Director General;
- evaluating the application of organizational techniques and methods as well as simplifying administrative work, in conjunction with the public services concerned
- management control of the programme budget management process;
- monitoring the social governance of the NSI;
- the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy within the NSI;
- monitoring and evaluating the implementation of contract and agreement specifications;
- any other audit, control and evaluation mission entrusted to it by the Director General or the Deputy Director General.
It comprises, in addition to the Inspector of Services, two (02) Research Officers.
