Legal Unit
Placed under the authority of a Head of Cell, the Legal Unit is responsible for:
- legal advice on matters of interest to the Institute;
- the preparation and formatting of draft texts initiated by the Institute or submitted for signature by the Director General;
- the study, formatting and legal monitoring of the agreements entered into by the Institute;
- the conservation, classification and dissemination of legislative, regulatory and contractual texts of interest to the Institute;
- legal advice on matters within the scope of the Institute;
- the legal regularity of the Institute’s commitments;
- the defence of the Institute’s interests in legal proceedings.
It includes, in addition to the Head of Cell, two (02) Assistant Research Officers
