Littoral

The Centre region, with Yaoundé as its capital, occupies a strategic position in the heart of Cameroon.

It covers about 69,000 km² and is home to a geographical diversity ranging from forest plateaus to dense urban areas. According to the latest estimates, the region has a population of more than 4 million, accounting for about 15% of the national population.
