The third quarter of 2019 was characterized by an improvement in economic activity, reflected in real GDP growth of 3.8% compared to the same period in 2018. On the supply side, this evolution is the result of the dynamism of activities in all three sectors, in particular the tertiary sector, whose contribution to growth is 2.0 points, followed by the secondary sectors with 1.3 points, and the primary sector with 0.6 points. On the demand side, the growth observed is the result of the consolidation of final consumption and exports of goods and services, with contributions to growth of 2.7 points and 2.1 points respectively. However, this development would have been more significant had it not been for the contraction in investment, whose contribution is negative, i.e. 1.4 points to growth
