Component 4 of the 2022 Compendium on Environment Statistics is now available. It focuses on extreme events and disasters and provides key data for assessing risks related to climatic and natural hazards. Through this component, the NSI contributes to the monitoring of Cameroon’s resilience commitments, in line with SDGs 11 and 13. The statistics produced inform decision-making on disaster prevention, management and risk reduction, in the context of increasing climate change.
