Component 4 of the 2022 Environmental Statistics Compendium is now available. It focuses on extreme events and disasters, providing key data for assessing risks related to climate and natural hazards. Through this component, the NIS contributes to monitoring Cameroon’s commitments to resilience, in line with SDGs 11 and 13. The statistics presented support decision-making in disaster prevention, risk reduction, and climate change adaptation.
