The Government has been implementing the National Development Strategy (NDS30), second phase of Cameroon’s Development Vision for 2035 (Vision 2035) driven by the President of the Republic, H.E. Paul BIYA; Vision of a Cameroon “modern and socially advanced country”
On this road laid out in Vision 2035, the National Statistical Information System (NSIS) is called upon to support the Government with  the production of quality information for the monitoring and evaluation of the multiple actions conducted at the national, sectoral and local levels. In addition, this law places the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (NSDS) at the heart of national statistical activity for greater consistency and efficiency. More precisely, section 3 of this law states that “official statistics shall be produced under programmes contained in the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics”
