Compared to the 4th quarter of 2020, final consumer prices increased slightly by 0.1% in the 1st quarter of 2021. On average over the last twelve months, the general price level increased by 2.3% at the end of March 2021. This increase
was mainly fuelled by the recovery in the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages (+3.4% after +3.1% at the end
of March 2020) as well as “housing, water, gas, electricity and other fuels” (+2.5% after +2.3% at the end of March 2020).
