Food prices remain stable
In September 2021 and compared to last month, the Household Final Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased at the same pace as the previous month (+0.1%). Compared to the same period in 2020, the general price level increased at the same pace as last month (+1.9%), after +2.3% a year ago. On average over the last twelve months, the general price level increased by 1.9%, in line with the increase in the prices of food products (+3.9% after +4.0% last month) and “education” (+1.9% after +1.8% last month). The core inflation rate is +1.5% after +1.4% last month.
