The Regional Agency of the National Institute of Statistics of the Centre is pleased to present the 2019 edition of the Region’s Statistical Yearbook. In view of the decentralization under way in the country, administrators and managers will have a greater need for statistical data, even fragmentary ones, for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of regional development policies. The Regional Statistical Yearbook, which is a compendium of statistics produced by the region’s public and parapublic administrations, should help to fill some of the statistical data gap. It should also make the implementation of the Growth and Employment Strategy Paper (GESP) clearer. The Regional Statistical Yearbook is the extension of the National Statistical Yearbook regularly published by the Directorate-General of the National Institute of Statistics.
The 2018 Statistical Yearbook consists of three parts divided into 24 chapters, each dealing with a specific theme:
- First part: Territory and climatology;
- Second part: Population and social affairs;
- Part Three: Economic Activities.
