The present edition of the statistical yearbook of the South comprises 17 chapters organized into 03 main parts: Territory and Climatology, Population and Social Affairs and Economic Activities. The first part situates the southern region in its physical setting and describes its institutional, administrative and political organization. The second part highlights information on the socio-demographic characteristics of the Region. Finally, the third part traces the situation of the region’s economy in all areas. A presentation of the country’s economic indicators from the note on the 2018 national accounts and inflation data is made in this section.
