The National Institute of Statistics is the central element of the National Statistical Information System. As such, its main mission is to produce and make available to the public the statistical data necessary for policy evaluation and decision-making. In line with this mission, the 2022 edition of the statistical yearbook of the Southern region is presented to you. The production of the regional statistical yearbook is part of the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (SNDS), the objective of which is to ensure the availability of quality official statistics.
