The INS hosts an ICASEES workshop

Organized with the support of the PARIS21 consortium, the objectives of this workshop were to diagnose the national statistical system of the CAR, to develop the vision and capacity building strategies and to finally produce the NSDS document. The work took place from 21 to 25 May 2018 in the premises of the INS in the presence of the Deputy Director General of the said Institute and the Director General of ICASEES. The two officials welcomed the partnership relations that bind their respective institutions. Despite the unstable security situation in CAR, the Central African statistical system has a transitional NSDS which was improved during the work. A second ICASEES workshop is planned for a later date.
