The objective of this study is to establish a baseline of indicators related to justice and crime. <\/p>\n<p>At the end of the study, it is expected that indicators will be available to assess and monitor the judicial and crime system on an ongoing basis throughout the national territory.<\/p>\n<p>Two preparatory workshops to finalize the list of indicators and to develop an effective collection methodology were held in February 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The data collection is scheduled for March and will last two weeks. The interim report is expected in April 2014. <\/p>\n<p>The study benefits from the participation of sectoral experts in the fields concerned, namely: the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization, the National Gendarmerie, the Secretary of State for Defense.<\/p>\n<p>The study is funded by the <strong>European Union<\/strong> through <i><strong>the Public Finance Reform Support Programme \u2013 Support to the National Statistical System<\/strong> (<b>PARFIP\/SSN).<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the first quarter of 2014, the INS launched a study aimed at producing judicial and crime indicators.
