{"id":17414,"date":"2021-08-27T10:27:30","date_gmt":"2021-08-27T09:27:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/statistique\/note-on-the-evolution-of-household-final-consumer-prices-in-douala-in-july-2021\/"},"modified":"2021-08-27T10:27:30","modified_gmt":"2021-08-27T09:27:30","slug":"note-on-the-evolution-of-household-final-consumer-prices-in-douala-in-july-2021","status":"publish","type":"statistique","link":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/en\/statistique\/note-on-the-evolution-of-household-final-consumer-prices-in-douala-in-july-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Note on the evolution of household final consumer prices in Douala in July 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Food prices continue to rise<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In July 2021 and compared to last month, the Household Final Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose at a faster pace than last month (+0.5% after +0.3% in June), mainly due to the increase in food prices (+1.0% after +1.1% in June 2021) and the rebound in the price of &#8220;housing,  water, gas, electricity and other fuels&#8221; (+1.4% after -0.1% in June 2021).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Compared to the same period in 2020, the general price level increased by 2.2% after +1.7% the previous month and +2.2% a year ago.
