In view of the decentralization under way in the country, administrators and managers will have a greater need for statistical data, even fragmentary ones, for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of regional development policies. The Regional Statistical Yearbook, which is a compendium of statistics produced by the region&#8217;s public and<x id=\"gid_0\"><\/x>parapublic administrations, should help to fill some of the statistical data gap. It should also allow for better readability of the implementation of the National Development Strategy<x id=\"gid_1\"><\/x>(NDS). The Regional Statistical Yearbook is the extension of the National Statistical Yearbook regularly published by the Directorate-General of the National Institute<x id=\"gid_2\"><\/x>of Statistics.<x id=\"gid_3\"><\/x>The 2020 edition of the Centre&#8217;s Statistical Yearbook contains updated data for the Region up to 2019.
