This price increase is mainly due to the rebound in the prices of food products (+0.7% after -0.1% the previous month), and to a lesser extent those of housing, water, gas, electricity and other fuels (+0.3% after -0.4% the previous month). The increase in food prices is largely due to the evolution of the prices of vegetables (+2.0% after -0.9% the previous month) as well as those of fish and seafood (+0.6% after -2.1% the previous month). In addition, the prices of “salt, spices and sauces” (+0.4% after +2.1% the previous month) and those of bread and cereals (+0.1% after +3.1% the previous month) slowed down. Prices of fruit (-1.0% after -1.9%) and milk, cheese and eggs (-0.4% after -2.4% in the previous month) fell less sharply than last month.
