This price increase is mainly due to the increase in food prices (+0.4% after +0.5% last month). The prices of furniture, household and routine cleaning articles (+0.2% as in the previous month) as well as those of leisure and culture (+0.2% after stability last month) increased at the same pace as the increase in the general price level. Conversely, call prices fell (-0.3% after +0.3% last month) after rising last month. Compared to the same period in 2019, the general price level increased by 1.9%, after 2.0% in September 2020 and +2.2% a year ago.
