The objective of the regional statistical yearbook is to assemble the statistics of the decentralized sectoral administrations in a cross-cutting reference document, in order to facilitate their popularization and use.<br \/>\nThe present edition of the statistical yearbook of the South comprises 17 chapters organized into 03 main parts: Territory and Climatology, Population and Social Affairs and Economic Activities. The first part situates the southern region in its physical setting and describes its institutional, administrative and political organization. The second part highlights information on the socio-demographic characteristics of the Region. Finally, the third part traces the situation of<x id=\"gid_1\"><\/x>the region&#8217;s economy in all areas.
