This increase is mainly due to the rise in the prices of foodstuffs, those of the &#8220;housing, water, gas, electricity and other fuels&#8221; component as well as transport costs. The increase in food prices can be explained mainly by the increase in the prices of bread and cereals as well as fish and seafood. The increase in the prices of the &#8220;housing, water, gas, electricity and other fuels&#8221; component is mainly due to the increase in the prices of solid fuels.     <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Compared to the same month in 2023 (<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle4\">i.e. year-on-year<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">), the increase is 4.5%<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">, mainly due to the 5.4% increase in food prices and a 12.6% increase in transport costs.
