La d\u00e9cision de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer l\u2019ASD le 18 novembre de chaque<br \/>\nann\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise par la vingt-cinqui\u00e8me session de la Commission \u00e9conomique des Nations Unies pour l\u2019Afrique<br \/>\net la seizi\u00e8me r\u00e9union des ministres africains responsables de la planification et du d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomiques<br \/>\nen mai 1990. Depuis lors, la journ\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e dans toute l\u2019Afrique avec des th\u00e8mes vari\u00e9s.<br \/>\nLa Banque africaine de d\u00e9veloppement (BAD), la Commission de l\u2019Union africaine (CUA) et la<br \/>\nCommission \u00e9conomique des Nations Unies pour l\u2019Afrique (CEA), en \u00e9troite collaboration avec les \u00c9tats<br \/>\nmembres, ont coordonn\u00e9 le processus menant \u00e0 la s\u00e9lection du th\u00e8me de l\u2019ASD en 2024 :<br \/>\n\u00ab Soutenir l&#8217;\u00e9ducation en modernisant la production de statistiques adapt\u00e9es \u00e0 ses besoins\u00bb<br \/>\nLe th\u00e8me des TSA est en phase avec le th\u00e8me de l\u2019Union africaine de 2024 \u00ab \u00c9duquer et former l\u2019Afrique<br \/>\npour le 21e si\u00e8cle\u00bb, et appelle \u00e0 moderniser les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes de donn\u00e9es sur le continent pour la production et<br \/>\nl&#8217;utilisation de statistiques officielles de haute qualit\u00e9 et \u00e0 saisir les opportunit\u00e9s des grands ensembles de donn\u00e9es.As you are aware, on 18 November of every year, the African statistics community celebrates the African<br \/>\nStatistics Day (ASD) with the aim of raising public awareness on the importance of statistics in the social and<br \/>\neconomic development of the continent. The decision to celebrate ASD on 18 November every year was made by<br \/>\nthe twenty-fifth session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the sixteenth meeting of<br \/>\nAfrican Ministers responsible for economic planning and development in May 1990. Since then, the day has been<br \/>\ncelebrated across Africa with varying themes.<br \/>\n        The African Development Bank (AfDB), the African Union Commission (AUC), and the UN Economic<br \/>\nCommission for Africa (ECA), in close collaboration with Member States, coordinated the process leading to the<br \/>\nselection of the theme for ASD in 2024:<br \/>\n\u201cSupporting education by modernizing production of fit for purpose statistics\u201d<br \/>\n        The theme for ASD is in alignment with the African Union theme of 2024 \u201cEducate and Skill Africa for<br \/>\nthe 21st Century\u201d and calls for modernizing data ecosystems in the continent for production and utilization of<br \/>\nhigh-quality official statistics and seize the opportunities of big data.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","format":[563],"meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"annee":[],"region":[],"domaines":[],"class_list":["post-9611","statistique","type-statistique","status-publish","hentry","format-publication-2"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/statistique\/9611","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/statistique"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/statistique"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/statistique\/9611\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=9611"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"annee","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/annee?post=9611"},{"taxonomy":"region","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/region?post=9611"},{"taxonomy":"format","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/format?post=9611"},{"taxonomy":"domaine","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ins-cameroun.cm\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/domaines?post=9611"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
