The 2018 edition of the EAE, based on 2017 economic data, was carried out on a sample of 511 companies representative of the structure of all modern companies. This sample is dominated by Large Enterprises (33%) followed by Small Enterprises (26%), Medium-sized Enterprises (21%) and Very Small Enterprises (19%). Depending on the sector of activity, tertiary companies represent 48% of this sample and secondary companies 46%. Given its organization, which is much more oriented towards family-type farms. Enterprises in the modern primary sector represent only 6% of the enterprises surveyed.
