Communication and Public Relations Unit

Placed under the authority of a Head of Unit, the Communication and Public Relations Unit is responsible for:

  • monitoring the implementation of the Institute’s communication policy and strategy;
  • the formatting of specific communication messages;
  • the collection, analysis and conservation of journalistic and audiovisual documentation relating to the Institute;
  • the organization of press conferences and other communication actions of the Institute;
  • media relations and other communication services;
  • the publication of the periodic information bulletin;
  • monitoring the updating of the Institute’s website;
  • the organization and follow-up, in collaboration with the technical services involved, of the official events initiated by the Institute.

It includes, in addition to the Head of Cell, two (02) Assistant Research Officers
