SNDS Quality Approach

The quality approach of Cameroon’s National Strategy for the Development of Statistics aims to provide public authorities, the private sector, civil society and technical and financial partners (TFPs) with quality statistical data for better analysis and good evidence-based decision-making. The National Statistical Information System (SNIS) is therefore committed to working to:

  1. the collection, processing and dissemination of statistical data as well as continuous improvement of their quality in strict compliance with international conventions, agreements and treaties;
  2. the improvement of the services provided by the implementation of a user relationship management system aimed at satisfying the needs of different user groups;
  3. the implementation of international statistical standards (AFRISTAT and the United Nations);
  4. the calorization of initiatives and the empowerment of staff for the achievement of quality results through a permanent improvement of their competence;
  5. the establishment of a systems approach to the efficient use of resources.
