After the publication of the two main reports (phase 1 and phase 2) of the second Survey on Employment and the Informal Sector (EESI 2), seven (07) thematic reports relating to employment and the informal sector have been selected for in-depth analysis: they are:

  • Integration of young people
  • Training and integration into the labour market
  • Job mobility
  • Gender and the labour market
  • Characteristics and determinants of underemployment
  • Determinants of Informal Sector Productivity
  • Profile of low-income workers.

Working groups have been set up to carry out these analyses. A workshop to draft these reports was held in Ebolowa from 3 to 7 September 2012. This workshop, in which members of the EESI 2 technical team took part, made it possible to have the advanced drafts of seven (07) thematic reports. These drafts were enriched and refined with the contributions of sector experts and researchers during the workshop held in Kribi from 21 to 26 October 2012. They will be published in early 2013.
