The Director General and some of his collaborators received medals of the Cameroonian Order of Valor and Merit on May 20, 2020.
It was during the Workshop on the dissemination of SND30 at MINEPAT that the recipients of the National Institute of Statistics received their decorations on January 19, 2021. The Director General of the NIS, first decorated received on this occasion the medal of Commander of the Order of Valor, the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs received that of Officer of the Order of Valor and the Head of the Division of Processing and Geographic Information Systems carried that of Knight of the Cameroonian Order of Merit. During the festive ceremony planned to celebrate these decorations, the Director General recalled that these medals are rewards for a job well done. He encouraged his staff to redouble their efforts at work so that waves of medals at the NIS follow one another.
