Cameroon’s National Accounts in the first quarter of 2022

[rank_math_breadcrumb]

The first quarter of 2022 is marked by the maintenance of the pace of economic activity, reflected in a growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 3.3% compared to the same quarter of 2021.

On the supply side, this development is the result of the dynamics observed in the primary and tertiary sectors, which are showing positive growth rates in their economic activities, compared to a slowdown in the secondary sector. On the demand side, GDP growth is mainly driven by final consumption and exports.
