Prices of imported food products have increased by 10.5% over one year.
In February 2022 and compared to last month, the Household Final Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.5% after +0.1% in the previous month. Compared to the same period in 2021, household final consumer prices rose by 3.5%, after +3.3% last month. One year ago, the change was 1.7%. On average over the last twelve months, household final consumer prices rose by 2.1%, after +2.0% last month. The underlying inflation rate is 1.4% after +1.2% last month. Inflationary pressures observed this month were therefore not only maintained by fresh products (+5.7% after +5.6% in the previous month).
