Evolution of final consumer prices of households in Douala in July 2020

In July 2020 and compared to June 2020, the Household Final Consumer Price Index increased by 0.1% as last month. This increase in prices is mainly due to the increase in the prices of restaurants and hotels (+0.5% after +0.1% the previous month), clothing and footwear (+0.4% as in the previous month), and miscellaneous goods and services (+0.6% after +0.2% the previous month). Conversely, the prices of food products (-0.1% after +0.3% the previous month) as well as those of communications (-0.4% after +0.2% the previous month) declined.
