Evolution of household final consumer prices in Yaoundé in November 2021

The rise in the prices of imported food products continues.

In November 2021 and compared to last month, the Household Final Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.2% after +0.1% in October. Compared to the same period in 2020, consumer prices increased by 2.2% after +1.9% last month. A year ago, the change was 1.6%. On average over the last twelve months, household final consumer prices increased by 1.7% in November 2021, as in October, August and September 2021. The core inflation rate1 stood at +1.0% after +0.9% last month.
