Slight increase in industrial producer prices in Q1 2024 year-on-year
Industrial producer prices rose slightly (+0.9% year-on-year) in the first quarter of 2024. Thus, the price increase recorded in the woodworking industries (+12.5%) and in the textile industries (+9%) was offset by the decline observed in the furniture manufacturing industry (-7.6%) and the printing sector (-8%). With reference to the fourth quarter of 2023, producer prices did not change much (+0.5%) in the first quarter of 2024.
