Prices of imported food products have increased by 15.3% over one year.
In May 2022 and compared to last month, the Household Final Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.8% after +1.2% in the previous month. Compared to the same period in 2021, household final consumer prices rose by 6.0%, after +5.2% the previous month. On average over the past twelve months, household final consumer prices increased by 3.1% after +2.7% the previous month. The underlying inflation rate is 2.4% after +2.0% in the previous month.
