Monthly Note on the Evolution of Household Final Consumer Prices in Cameroon June 2025

[rank_math_breadcrumb]

At the end of June 2025, consumer prices rose by 0.3% compared to the previous month, slightly higher than that observed in May (+0.2%).

This monthly change is mainly explained by the 0.5% increase in food prices and a 0.6% increase in the costs of the “housing, water, gas, electricity and other fuels” component.

On average over the last twelve months, the inflation rate stands at 4.1%, thus continuing its trajectory towards the CEMAC threshold of 3%.
