[rank_math_breadcrumb]

In October 2019 and relative to September 2019, the Household Final Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased at the same pace as the previous month (+0.2%), mainly due to the rise in the prices of food products (+0.5% after +0.4% the previous month), clothing and footwear (+0.6% after stability last month), and restaurant and hotel services (+0.3% after stability last month). The monthly increase in the general price level was partly offset by the fall in the prices of housing, water, gas, electricity and other fuels (-0.1%), transport (-0.1%) and health (-0.1%).
